Miami: Coach Stan Van Gundy elected to go with Rasual Butler when Dwyane Wade couldn't answer the bell because of his strained rib-cage muscle. In fact, at the beginning of the game, Butler ran off screens with sets that Wade enjoys. Riding emotion, the Heat were able to "hold serve" and play Detroit even through the first period.
