ESPN Insider Brian James will provide scouting reports throughout the NBA playoffs.
The Eastern Conference Finals is between the two best teams in the East and has been the anticipated matchup since early December. Both Miami and defending champion Detroit will have major strengths going against each other Detroit's overall tenacious defense that leaves many teams unable to run their sets vs. the Miami set offense of posting Shaquille O'Neal and allowing him to quarterback and make decisions whether to take the ball to the basket or throw the ball out to an open perimeter player after getting double-teamed.
