Making adjustments and handling adversity key
Greg Anthony discusses how making the right adjustments and handling adversity can enable a team to erase an 0-2 deficit in the playoffs.
Several teams (including the Mavs) find themselves in the difficult position of being down 0-2. As a player who's been on a team ('93-94 Knicks) that lost a 2-0 lead, I can offer a little advice to those teams.
Teams down 0-2 must realize that the one constant of playoff basketball is that teams must adjust to their opponents and must know how to deal with the adversity the playoff stage delivers.
There's no doubt that teams face the most adversity when they are faced with an 0-2 deficit. That's when teams must make the necessary adjustments to extend their series and make their opponents feel some pressure. Here's a look at those series and what the losing teams must do.
