A lot was made of Brooklyn's pristine 4-0 record against Miami during the regular season, and how the best team that money could buy was uniquely positioned to topple the champs with their jumbo small lineups and interchangeability at almost every position. And then Game 1 happened.
What went wrong? How did a Heat squad that was listless in close regular-season games against Brooklyn manage to blow the doors open in a commanding Eastern Conference semifinal series opener that was never in doubt? The short answer is, of course, "LeBron James." He was sensationally efficient with 22 points on 15 shot attempts. But were the Nets on their A-game in Game 1? Is there anything they could have done differently?
