LAS VEGAS -- Now that the Miami Heat are NBA champions, it's a good time to look at where the value lies for next season. The LVH SuperBook here in Vegas has put up openers for the 2013-14 NBA season, and there is plenty to discuss.

The Heat are the overwhelming favorite, with the Oklahoma City Thunder the second choice at 9-2. The San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Bulls -- both with major questions in regard to Manu Ginobili being a free agent and Tim Duncan's potential retirement for the Spurs and the ongoing saga of Derrick Rose with the Bulls -- are next at 7-1. No other team is in single digits.

Making any futures bet comes with a lot of uncertainty, and obviously there are added issues when tying up your money for a full year. But let's still try to look at the current NBA landscape and project what might happen during the offseason and over the course of next season to determine the best value bets for the 2014 NBA title.
