The NBA playoffs, despite being best-of-seven series, are a lot like March Madness. They're all about surviving and advancing with the guys dressed to play. So teams such as Philly and Indiana do not have to apologize for beating teams with injuries.
The players can only do their jobs to the best of their abilities; pounding overmatched backups or exploiting teams out of rhythm is all that matters. The top players this postseason have found multiple ways to carry their teams, starting with attitude and poise.
