Debate: Is Raymond Felton an All-Star?

The only thing Ric Bucher and Chris Broussard like to do more than report on the NBA is argue about the NBA. So we decided to combine those two skills for Insider's weekly One-on-One series, in which they'll debate the hottest topics in The Association.

Question: Is Raymond Felton worthy of an All-Star selection this season?

BROUSSARD: Before the season began, someone told me Raymond Felton was going to be an All-Star this season. I laughed. While I've always though Felton was a good player, I never saw him as an All-Star. Now, after his great play in New York, I'm a believer -- Felton should make the Eastern Conference All-Star team.

BUCHER: This is a tough one for me. I always appreciate when a player surpasses expectations or rises to the challenge of a bigger stage or role. Felton has done that. But when I look at how crowded the field is for five All-Star guard spots, and that we're talking about making a guy an All-Star for two months of work, I'm going to have to say Felton hasn't earned it just quite yet.
