Nate Robinson's recent success is a reminder that small guards can succeed in the NBA. From Spud Webb to Muggsy Bogues to Brevin Knight to T.J. Ford, there's a lineage of impact. But shorter guards need to have a special set of skills to play in the NBA, and while bright coaches figure out how to maximize those abilities, they can be exploited, too.
