No family and friends on trip -- except for one 'Uncle'?

LAS VEGAS -- Team USA went wheels up at 7 a.m. this morning, flying commercial instead of charter with friends and family left behind. Under a rule imposed by team czar Jerry Colangelo, wives, girlfriends, children and peeps were not welcome on this trip. Even the enigmatic "Worldwide Wes" -- whose job description might best be described as professional friend to most of America's top athletes -- was told his days of red-carpet treatment were being curtailed.
