Team USA faces obstacles on road to redemption

LAS VEGAS -- The craps tables at the Wynn Resort and Casino were devoid of basketball players at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, a few hours after the U.S. men's national team finished up its welcoming dinner in Sin City.
Nobody was at the blackjack tables, either, or at the slots, or at roulette. No Dwyane Wade. No LeBron James. No coach Mike Krzyzewski. None of the USA Basketball executives who have been trying to build a winner for six years and counting.
