Fans have mixed emotions; players embrace Brown

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- One by one, the starting five for the Detroit Pistons came over did something a significant portion of the crowd had failed to do moments earlier -- make Larry Brown feel welcome.
A handshake and a hug from Rasheed Wallace was followed by more love from Chauncey Billups, then Tayshaun Prince, then Ben Wallace, then Richard Hamilton.
"You don't plan nothing like that. That was just something that happened," Billups said. "If he had been on the court earlier, we would have done it earlier. But that was the first time we had all seen him, so it was just a spontaneous thing."
