1. We had two rare sights at the thrilling end of Tuesday's Nets-Pacers game. First, there was Indy coach Jim O'Brien realizing he had a matchup advantage and eschewing the de rigueur timeout when his team got the ball down a point with 24 seconds left. Instead he caught the Nets with Jarvis Hayes -- rather than defensive ace Trenton Hassell -- guarding Danny Granger, and Granger made a back cut for a jumper to give Indy the lead.
