1. It was unusual that Derrick Rose didn't start last night, but there was something else that I really liked -- his seven assists against seven shot attempts. I've pointed out a few different times in here that Rose has created shots for teammates less often than we might have expected given his credentials coming out of college, putting him more in the Steve Francis category of point guards than the Jason Kidd lineage. Obviously, the Bulls would prefer that he be as good at distributing as scoring, making last night's performance a welcome sight.
