So much for the offensive revolution.

After some unusually high-scoring games in the season's first week, it appears we're back to the trend line of last season. The league's average offensive efficiency is 102.4, almost exactly what it was for the first month of play last season (102.5). It turns out that in all likelihood the big story wasn't the new rims or new lineups or anything else, it's that we had some outliers in Week 1 that were quickly corrected.
