How Coach Riley forces President Riley's hand

Miami Heat fans have spent the past six months worrying about their coaching situation, and that's certainly understandable. But now that Pat Riley's long-expected move to the sidelines is a fait accompli, South Florida's hoop fans should have another concern: their team president. The team president, of course, is the same Pat Riley who just assumed the coaching position. He's the one making the final call on all the important personnel decisions -- trades, the draft, free agency, you name it. Moreover, since he's the one who built the current roster, that gives him added credibility on the sidelines. Thus, one might think that it's a positive that he's wearing both hats. Riley's history tells us otherwise.
