The South region in the NCAA tournament might be the strongest in terms of NBA prospects, but the Midwest isn't far behind. The Midwest bracket has four lottery prospects, an additional six potential first-rounders, and several intriguing sleepers from mid-major schools.

Insider's NBA draft team has talked to multiple NBA scouts and GMs over the course of the season, and based on their feedback and information, here's a look at the top NBA prospects for each of the teams in the Midwest Region, listed by potential lottery picks, first-rounders, second-rounders and "wait until next year" players. (Teams listed by seed.)

1. Wichita State Shockers

Potential first-rounder: Ron Baker, G, junior
Potential second-rounder: Cleanthony Early, SF, senior
Wait until next year: Fred VanVleet, PG, sophomore

The Shockers are undefeated this season, and they've done it without the help of any clear-cut NBA prospects.
