NBA Insiders Amin Elhassan and Bradford Doolittle break down the draft profile, needs and potential picks of the 14 teams eligible for the NBA draft lottery this year. With some help from Chad Ford's Big Board of top-30 prospects, we take a look at the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Personnel needs: SG, SF, C

Major need: It's strange to imagine a Rick Adelman-coached team needing a lot more help on offense than it does on defense, but that's the predicament Minnesota finds itself in, as the Timberwolves posted an above-average defensive rating but a 25th-ranked offensive rating. A major culprit was the lack of shooting, as the Wolves were the league's absolute worst team in 3-point percentage.
