Summary:
Luke Jackson
Luke Jackson
Notes: Former teammate of Luke Ridnour was never considered a legit NBA prospect until his amazing senior season. Led his team in scoring, rebounding and assists this year. Has hired NBA agent Mark Bartlestein

Upside: Exceled in just about every area of the game this year. He's always had a very nice mid-range game and is considered one of the more versatile players in the draft. Dramatically improved his three point range this season. He shot 44 percent from behind the arc this season and doubled his three pointers made from last year. An excellent passer who sees the floor well and can play the point forward position. Solid handle. He also owns nice low post moves and will post up smaller defenders. Great free throw shooter. A better athlete than you might think. He has pretty quick feet.

Downside: Position and defense. He's very versatile offensively, but scouts worry about who he'll guard on the defensive end. He's doesn't possess the strength or height to guard many of the league's three. Does he have the lateral quickness to guard twos?

Insider Projection: Another Mike Miller? Shooting will come at a premium in this draft and Jackson's impressive improvement in that department has really helped his stock. The fact that he's mature and experienced also help him. He's one of the few guys in this draft who can come in right now and help a team. He's moved from a borderline first round pick into a likely lottery pick with great workouts. Will go anywhere from 7 to 22.
