On Wednesday, we mentioned "the curse of the No. 2 pick" and how it might weigh on the Grizzlies. A recently posted article in the Memphis Commercial Appeal speaks to that idea, as well, and addresses the fact that a week before the draft, the Grizzlies have no clear-cut option on how to proceed.At this point, the Grizzlies' front-runners for the second selection appear to be Hasheem Thabeet, Ricky Rubio and James Harden. Harden will be in Memphis on Friday, but not working out against competition. The Grizz had Tyreke Evans in on Wednesday, but he did not face live competition, either. As the Commercial Appeal story says, "Evans dominated orange cones like no one has seen."
