Hanley isn't enough for L.A.
Ramirez will help the Dodgers' offense, but they still must pitch better

The Los Angeles Dodgers took the baseball world by storm early this season, rattling off 12 wins in their first 15 games. They continued to play well through mid-June and spent 11 consecutive weeks in the top five of the ESPN Power Rankings. But the past month-plus has not been as kind, and the Dodgers have spent the past two weeks in 11th place.
On Wednesday, the team got a boost by trading for Hanley Ramirez. Although he will be an upgrade for the Dodgers, Ramirez is unlikely to single-handedly put Los Angeles over the hump in the National League West.
