With the season only a week old, it's still too early for teams to panic about early-season results. However, even with the caveats that come with very small sample sizes, situations are already popping up that shouldn't lead to civil insurrection and mass hysteria, but should at least be causing some concern.
Hamilton's hacking ways
No, Josh Hamilton is far from done as a contributor and he's still going to have some crazy stretches in which he terrorizes pitchers for a month. Hamilton was never a contact hitter type that you would confuse with Marco Scutaro, but his inability to connect with the ball, a problem that plagued him at times in 2012, has persisted into the start of 2013.
