I'm about to lay a trap, Dear Reader, and I'm afraid there's absolutely nothing you can do to avoid it (unless you want to go find something else to read, and quickly).

Will you agree with me that nobody -- except the Pope, if you're that particular sort of Catholic -- is perfect? That everybody, even the most thoughtful and successful among us, occasionally makes a mistake?
