Yankees' strategy backfires in 6-1 loss to Rangers in ALCS Game 6

Three times in the series the New York Yankees had intentionally walked Josh Hamilton, instead opting to face Vladimir Guerrero. Three times it worked. They pitched around Hamilton and walked him an additional three times, and even after these unintentional walks Guerrero couldn't make the Yankees pay. When the Yankees called for yet another intentional walk of Hamilton in the fifth inning of Game 6, it felt as though Vlad was due.
