Weak, depleted offense must score enough runs to support strong pitching staff
It was a white-knuckle final week, but the Atlanta Braves did make the playoffs as the National League wild card, although it took a start from ace Tim Hudson to get them there, scrambling their postseason rotation slightly as a result. They're going to pitch well in October, but the main question is how many runs they'll score with a lineup that's as weak as the pitching staff is strong.
