Help Is On The Way, Seattle
Cliff Lee, LHP, Seattle Mariners (Triple-A Seattle)Sunday's stats: 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K
While the Mariners spent the weekend losing three ugly games to the Chicago White Sox, the good news is that their rotation is about to get their second ace, as Cliff Lee's rehab start on Sunday was nothing short of dominant. He threw 68 pitches, topped out at 92 mph, and according to one scout in attendance, he threw every pitch in his arsenal for strikes and looked to be in mid-season form. He's a key part of the Mariners' chances this year, even if it did involveda month delay. Lee will make his Seattle debut on Friday against the Texas Rangers.
