Rickey Henderson will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Sunday, an honor that, while it comes at the first opportunity, feels long overdue for the player who holds the records for stolen bases and runs, is a member of the 3,000 Hit Club, and is widely acknowledged as the greatest leadoff hitter of all time.
