Cubs missing much more than Lee
Injured first baseman Derrek Lee should be back by mid-June, but it's scary to think where the Cubs might be then, writes Jerry Crasnick.
"I watched them and I thought, 'They're trying so hard,' " Lee said. "You can see it on their faces, how hard they're running and going after balls and concentrating during their at-bats. We're playing as hard as we possibly can. Things just aren't happening for us right now."
