6. Aaron Heilman (traded to Seattle): Heilman's two-pitch combo worked well in relief, but he needed a change of scenery. He's moving to another good pitchers' park in Seattle, which might help him with his gopher-ball problem. But he also has to improve his control.
7. Ryan Freel (traded to Baltimore): Good utility player who could fill in as a regular at three or four positions and, if healthy, might hit enough to play every day at second or in center.
8. Franklin Gutierrez (traded to Seattle): A great defender in a corner and an above-average one in center, Gutierrez has plate discipline and platoon issues that have kept him from everyday status.
