Rob, I was just reading a couple of your older columns on the Hall of Fame voting and the Veterans Committee.

In light of Ron Santo being denied again, do you have any idea what the argument is against him? Even reading his bio on the Hall's Web site, I can't find a good reason to keep him out. Care to play devil's advocate? I just want an idea of what the committee is doing besides preventing anyone else from joining their ranks, especially such a worthy candidate.
