Spring training tends to drag in Vero Beach, Fla., and the folks in the Los Angeles Dodgers' front office like to break up the monotony with bowling nights and golf outings. Kim Ng, Dodgers assistant general manager, plays golf with the boys with only one precondition: She'll never concede weakness by swinging from the ladies' tees.

Well, almost never.

"If there's money on the line, I might hit from the red tees,'' Ng said, laughing. "I like to win as much as the next person.''
