Georgia's Poythress powering way up draft board

While such names as James Paxton of Kentucky, Kyle Gibson of Missouri and Mike Leake of Arizona State lead the pack of college pitchers making their move up draft boards, there's one hitter following the same path: Georgia's Rich Poythress.
Poythress began the year among the top 100, but was not generally considered a first- or second-round talent. That has likely changed.
The first baseman went 4-for-4 on Friday, including two homers and two doubles; both homers came off Tennessee left-hander Nick Hernandez. He also a drew a walk and is now hitting .455/.556/.909 with 11 home runs, seven doubles and a nice, shiny 19-9 BB/K ratio.
