Tim Lincecum has been underrated since the very first day he stepped onto the mound at Liberty High School in the Seattle suburb of Renton, Wash., if not long before. He wasn't heavily recruited during his final prep years and was taken in the 48th round of the 2003 draft by the Chicago Cubs -- 1,407 players after No. 1 pick Delmon Young went to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
