The Mercer Bears will make just their third appearance in the NCAA tournament and hope to earn their first win. Coming off a school-record 26-win season, including a win at rival Florida Gulf Coast in the conference final, Mercer opens the tournament with four returning starters from last season. The Bears hope to be the second straight Atlantic Sun team (FGCU in 2013) to make waves in the Big Dance. Will their experience allow them to do so?

ESPN Insider has your answers, as Joe Lunardi has enlisted a team of Bracketologists to compile advanced metrics, key scouting intel and best- and worst-case tournament scenarios for all 68 teams to help you make smart picks in your bracket. Plus, as Lunardi fills out his bracket, he'll give you his prediction on how each team will fare.
