Bracket projection: Cal Poly
Can the 13-19 Mustangs continue their March run with a tournament win?
Entering the 2013-14 season, the Cal Poly Mustangs had never experienced the glory of the NCAA tournament. And after winning just two nonconference games against Division I foes, and going 2-9 to close out the regular season, it didn't look like this would be the year that the trend would change. But triumph in the final of the Big West tournament -- a run that included upsets of the conference's top two teams -- means they're about to make their debut at the Big Dance. But can the 19-loss Mustangs find comfort wearing Cinderella's slippers?
ESPN Insider has your answers, as Joe Lunardi has enlisted a team of Bracketologists to compile advanced metrics, key scouting intel and best- and worst-case tournament scenarios for all 68 teams to help you make smart picks in your bracket. Plus, as Lunardi fills out his bracket, he'll give you his prediction on how each team will fare.
