Bracket Projection: Pacific
Can the Tigers' depth and 3-point shooting help them pull an upset?

The Pacific Tigers have returned to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2006 and enter on a seven-game winning streak. What will it take for Bob Thomason's squad to keep the streak alive, and what could send them home early?
ESPN Insider has your answers, as Joe Lunardi has enlisted a team of Bracketologists to compile advanced metrics, key scouting intel and best- and worst-case tournament scenarios for all 68 teams, in order to help you make smart picks in your bracket. Plus, as Lunardi fills out his bracket, he'll give you his prediction on how each team will fare.
Lunardi's Logic
Bob Thomason's farewell couldn't have turned out better, as the 25-year veteran dances for the fourth time in his retirement season. He beat Pitt as a No. 8 seed in 2005 and Providence as a No. 12 seed in 2004. Can the Tigers spring a third upset as a No. 15 seed against a Miami (FL) team on everyone's short list to win it all? Doubtful, it says here, but not impossible.
TOURNEY PROFILE
Best wins: Xavier, Long Beach State
Worst losses: UCSB, Cal Poly
