Bracket Projection: Boise State

For the first time in school history, the Boise State Broncos, with just one senior on their roster, are in the NCAA tournament with an at-large berth. This marks a huge step forward and a show of respect for Leon Rice's program. So, does this also become the tournament in which the Broncos win a game for the first time in school history?

Lunardi's Logic

Boise State is a worthy fifth team in the field from the Mountain West. Yet it was a non-conference victory at Creighton that likely lifted the Broncos into the tournament for the first time since 2008, when they won the WAC automatic bid. This is their first trip as MWC members and they come with a chance to do some damage this time. I give BSU a very slight edge over La Salle before bowing out against Kansas State.
