Easiest paths to the Final Four
Favorable matchups make Hoosiers' road to Atlanta a smooth one
If the lead-up to the NCAA tournament is all about the No. 1 seeds and which teams are on the bubble, the NCAA tournament itself is all about matchups. How your strengths and weaknesses align with those of your opponents plays a huge role in which teams advance in their regions and which ones don't.
I'm picking all four No. 1 seeds to make it to the Final Four in my bracket, but which ones have the easiest paths to get there? I ranked them in order, 1-4, and looked at a couple of other potential matchups within each region that could work in certain teams' favor.
IU has the easiest title path of all the No. 1 seeds, but I will say that NC State could present a challenge for the Hoosiers in a potential No. 1 versus No. 8 seeding matchup.
