Lack of experience could spell trouble for Sooners in 2013-14

Oklahoma Sooners

Last season: 20-12 (11-7)
In-conference offense: 1.08 points per possession (3rd)
In-conference defense: 1.02 points per possession (4th)

After a three-year absence, Oklahoma was back in the NCAA tournament last March. But other than the announcement of Oklahoma's name on Selection Sunday, the end of the season didn't provide much reason for celebration. To close the regular season, the Sooners were the victim of TCU's second conference win. In the Big 12 tournament, Oklahoma lost to Iowa State, blowing a 12-point lead with under eight minutes to play. And in the NCAA tournament, San Diego State closed on a 22-7 run to defeat OU in the second round.
