Texas Longhorns

2012-13: 16-18 (7-11)
In-conference offense: 0.99 points per possession (8th)
In-conference defense: 1.04 points per possession (6th)

Last season, Texas fielded the least-experienced roster in America. Among the 11 players to get significant minutes, six were freshmen and the other five were sophomores. So even though fans might have anticipated that point guard Myck Kabongo would declare for the NBA draft, there was still reason to believe that this season would be about watching the baby Longhorns grow up.

Unfortunately, Kabongo's departure wasn't the only one to impact the program. Between Kabongo heading to the NBA and Sheldon McClellan transferring to Miami, Texas lost the starting backcourt from last season, and also the two players who used the most possessions in the Longhorns' offense. Making matters worse, these players were also the most efficient scorers on the roster.
