Last season, Grambling was one of the worst teams in college basketball's modern era and most certainly the worst team ever based on Ken Pomeroy's ratings. Forget the winless season: consider that Grambling never posted a single-game offensive efficiency over 93 while ordinarily allowing well over a point per possession every game. They had an overall efficiency margin of .51, unheard of since efficiency statistics began to be tabulated.
