Preview: Jacksonville Dolphins
The Dolphins will depend on several sophomores to buoy their season
2012-13: 14-18 (9-9)
In-conference offense: 0.99 points per possession (9th)
In-conference defense: 1.01 points per possession (5th)
For a team that ranked 302nd in effective height, Jacksonville defended and rebounded well last season. The Dolphins ranked third in the Atlantic Sun in both defensive rebounding percentage and defensive effective field goal percentage in 2012-13. That allowed them to finish fifth in defensive efficiency, despite forcing turnovers on less than 19 percent of possessions in conference play.
