Preview: Tennessee State Tigers
Patrick Miller-led Tigers likely to finish in middle of OVC pack
2012-13: 18-15 (11-5)
In-conference offense: 1.10 points per possession (3rd)
In-conference defense: 1.04 points per possession (6th)
There may not be a player in the Ohio Valley this season who will shoulder a load as large as Tennessee State's Patrick Miller. The 6-foot-1 senior has been key to the Tigers' resurgence over the past three seasons, serving as both the lead distributor and a solid perimeter defender. Most of the players who complemented him have since graduated, leaving Miller as the lone regular to lead his younger teammates in 2013-14. The point guard is used to winning, and one can be sure that he will carry his team to ensure that the Tigers don't fall in the standings.
