2012-13: 9-21 (5-11)
In-conference offense: 0.94 points per possession (12th)
In-conference defense: 1.12 points per possession (12th)
When a team finishes last in points per possession on both offense and defense in conference play, one would surmise there's nowhere to go but up. Yet Tennessee-Martin has amazingly finished last in the Ohio Valley in both of these metrics in each of the past two seasons. If the Skyhawks are going to reverse their fortunes, the 2013-14 campaign may be the one in which to do it.
