Western Illinois Leathernecks

2012-13: 22-9 (13-3)
In-conference offense: 1.04 points per possession (5th)
In-conference defense: 0.05 points per possession (2nd)

For the first time in years, Western Illinois appears ready to reload rather than rebuild. While replacing two all-league performers in guard Ceola Clark and forward Terell Parks will be a tall task, sixth-year coach Jim Molinari has built a solid foundation with his recruiting efforts over the last two seasons. In addition to finding several junior college transfers who have been able to fit in his defense-oriented system right away, Molinari also has young players in the pipeline poised to break out in larger roles this season.
