The Sycamores have enough talent to dethrone Wichita State this season

In-conference offense: 1.01 points per possession (T-6th)
In-conference defense: 1.01 points per possession (T-3rd)
If there was ever a time for Indiana State to contend for a Missouri Valley title, it's this season. Four veteran starters and key bench players return for a Sycamores team that was on the verge of an NCAA tournament berth in 2012-13. The lone loss is forward RJ Mahurin (10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game), who decided to transfer to Indiana Wesleyan.
