Preview: Arkansas-Little Rock
Even with five of top six scorers back, the Trojans won't contend
2012-13: 17-15 (11-9)
In-conference offense: 0.98 points per possession (9th)
In-conference defense: 0.99 points allowed per possession (4th)
Arkansas-Little Rock returns a fair amount of production from one of the top Sun Belt squads in 2012-13. Five of head coach Steve Shields' top six scorers are back, including 6-foot-10 senior Will Neighbour and sophomore guard Josh Hagins. Hagins is the most efficient returner: last season he drained 53 percent of his 2s while sinking a third of his 3-point attempts. Neighbour can play multiple positions, is a strong rebounder and makes a much larger percentage of his 2s than his 3-pointers. He'll almost surely be the team's leading scorer again this season.
