Preview: Boise State Broncos
Can Broncos make it back-to-back bids to the Big Dance?
2012-13: 21-11 (9-7 Mountain West)
In-conference offense: 1.05 points per possession (2nd)
In-conference defense: 1.03 points allowed per possession (7th)
It's been 20 years since the Broncos had back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances, but that's the expectation in 2013-14. All five starters return, and the Broncos' two best players, Derrick Marks and Anthony Drmic -- likely the best one-two punch in the MWC -- are only juniors. Coach Leon Rice, a longtime Gonzaga assistant, knows how to embrace scrutiny. "You can't build a program without building expectations," he said. "That's what you want ... But it's not like we won the league last year, so we do have a lot to prove."
