Maurice CreekAJ Mast/Icon SMIMaurice Creek, a transfer from Indiana, should be able to contribute immediately at GW.

George Washington Colonials

2012: 13-17 (7-9 A-10)
In-conference offense: 0.99 points per possession (12th)
In-conference defense: 1.01 points allowed per possession (5th)

For Maurice Creek, 2009 must seem like ages ago. That fall, as a freshman at Indiana, he averaged 16.4 points per game in his first 12 games before missing the rest of the season with a knee injury. Creek would then suffer two more serious injuries in a span of 22 months and fall behind higher-rated recruits on Indiana's depth chart. By last season, he was playing sporadically and averaging only 1.8 points per game.
