The Roadrunners' lack of experience and size could lead to major problems

In-conference offense: 0.98 points per possession (7th in WAC)
In-conference defense: 1.11 points per possession (10th in WAC)
Teams just don't get much smaller than the Roadrunners were in their only season in the WAC. UTSA sported an average height of 6-foot-3, and only one player over 6-4 played more than 17 minutes per game. As a result, Brooks Thompson's team was helpless defensively inside the arc and was near the bottom of the nation in both blocking shots and avoiding rejections.
