Offensive-minded Flashes need improved rebounding to contend in MAC

In-conference offense: 1.08 points per possession (1st)
In-conference defense: 1.02 points allowed per possession (8th)
In MAC play last season, the Kent State offense scored more points per trip than any other team, and a large portion of that success came from the Golden Flashes drilling 39 percent of their 3s. While coach Rob Senderoff lost several shooters, he returns key perimeter players Darren Goodson, Kris Brewer and Devareaux Manley -- all of whom have shown 3-point range.
